Chelsea Singleton Receives K01 Award to Study Community Violence and Nutrition
P3RC Affiliate Chelsea Singleton, PhD received a K01 award from the National Institutes of Health to study the relationship between violence and nutrition. Before securing her faculty position in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois, Dr. Singleton examined healthy food retail in low-income communities as a PostDoc at the Illinois Prevention Research Center.
